Argos customers rushing to buy No.1 best-selling PS5 console at massive discount | Gaming | Entertainment

The PS5 Slim Digital Edition and regular PS5 Slim have both been given hefty discounts at Argos.

For a limited time only, the regular PS5 Slim is available for £429.99, while the PS5 Slim Digital Edition is reduced to £339.99. In both cases that’s a saving of £50.

Argos customers are rushing to purchase the discounted consoles, which are listed as “in-demand” and “selling fast”. The PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition, meanwhile, is the number 1 best-seller in the entire video game category.

With the cut-priced consoles proving so popular, there’s a chance they won’t be around for long, so you might want to act quickly to avoid missing out.

The good thing about Argos is that you can buy now and collect on the same day, meaning you don’t have to wait for delivery.

The retailer also offers same-day deliveries for a small fee, as well as next-day delivery where applicable.

Argos customers can purchase the consoles outright, or use credit schemes like Klarna to buy now and pay later.

As for the console itself, the £429.99 PS5 Slim comes with a built-in disc drive, which means you can play games on disc, as well as watch DVDs and Blu-rays.

Both consoles have a 1TB SSD for speedier loading times, as well as a DualSense controller and a copy of Astro’s Playroom. Of course, that’s not to be confused with the recently released Astro Bot, which is one of the highest-rated games of the year.
