Call of Duty Black Ops 6 definitely feels like a step in the right direction for a series that was starting to lose some steam.
The game has been praised for its captivating campaign, extensive multiplayer offerings and a Zombies mode that hearkens back to the good old days.
After a successful launch just a few days prior, Activision and developer Treyarch have released the game’s first big post-launch update.
The new Black Ops 6 update makes some crucial improvements and fixes across the board, while also adding the previously announced Infected mode to Zombies. As a reminder, Nuketown will join the map line-up later this week.

As you can see from the patch notes below, this includes updates to both multiplayer and Zombies, as well as the game’s user-interface.
For starters, Treyarch has improved image streaming in front-end menus, all the while improving overall stability.
Speaking of which, Treyarch has made server-side improvements to multiplayer stability and also addressed an issue with weapon attachments disappearing at the start of matches.
Zombies gets the most love, with Treyarch closing an exploit on Terminus. This particular exploit allowed players to temporarily lose enemy targeting. A similar fix was made to Liberty Falls.
Likewise, Liberty Falls players can now only individually interact with the Bank Vault combination lock three times per round.
