Steam Deck White pre-order time, date and price – limited edition console to sell out fast | Gaming | Entertainment

Alarms on and wallets at the ready, because the brand new Steam Deck OLED White Edition is about to go on sale.

Featuring a rather striking white and grey colour scheme, this stylish new Steam Deck handheld is only available in limited quantities, so you’ll need to be quick off the mark to get your hands on one.

Priced at £599, the Steam Deck OLED Limited Edition White console has a November 18 release date and an 11pm GMT on sale time for customers living in the UK.

You can add a reminder to your calendar by visiting the Steam Deck OLED Limited Edition White website and clicking the link for Apple, Google or Outlook. This will automatically adjust to your local timezone for the worldwide simultaneous release.

You should also bookmark the Steam Deck store page to give yourself a better chance of securing a device, and follow the Steam Deck social media page on X for the exact shopping link when it goes live.

According to official shipping estimates, successful customers should receive their new unit within 3-5 working days.

This means your white Steam Deck console will be in your hands by this weekend at the latest.

Of course, there’s no guarantee you’ll manage to secure a unit, because stock will be allocated proportionally across each region.

This means there will be fewer consoles available in the UK compared to the US and Canada, for example.

Valve explains more: “This model will only be available in limited quantities, with stock allocated proportionally across each region.

“This means separate availability for US, CA, UK, EU, AU, and the Komodo regions. To ensure that as many customers who wish to purchase a Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White can get their hands on one, we are restricting purchases to 1 unit per account.

“Accounts must have made a Steam purchase before November 2024 and be in good standing to be eligible.”

Outside of the new colour scheme, the new Steam Deck OLED features the same specs as the regular version, including an ultra-fast 1TB SSD.

That’s on top of a 1280 x 800 HDR OLED display with premium anti-glare etched glass.

It has a gorgeous 7.4-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a trackpad, Wi-Fi 6E and 3-12 hours of battery life.

This particular version also comes with a matching white carry case, not to mention a white microfiber cleaning cloth.

Now is the perfect time to pick up a new Steam Deck, because Valve is about to hold a massive Steam Sale for autumn.

The console is also about to face stiff competition from the Nintendo Switch 2, which is expected to launch in 2025. Likewise, Microsoft has suggested that an Xbox handheld could also be released in the coming years.
