What time is Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk? UK start time and full figh | Boxing | Sport

Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will once again reignite their rivalry as the ‘Gypsy King’ is desperate to level the series amid talks of a trilogy clash.

The Ukrainian became the first man to defeat Fury in a professional ring back in May. Despite slightly struggling in the early rounds, the Ukrainian took control just past the midway point and his biggest moment came in the ninth round when he nearly stopped the Brit – with only the ropes keeping Fury. Despite surviving the end of the round, Fury was unable to regain any momentum before losing on points.

With Fury looking to avoid suffering back-to-back defeats for the first time in his career, the two-time heavyweight world champion is aware of the task at hand as he looks to reclaim his throne. On the undercard, Moses Itauma will be looking to show why he is one of the hottest prospects in the sport right now when he takes on Demsey McKean. And so, here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s fights…

Quotes corner

Tyson Fury: “He threw his best shots. He had 10 shots on target, all on target, never dropped me. So if he couldn’t drop me when I was on Bambi legs, God be with him this time. I think he had his best shots to get me out of there and didn’t do it.” He added: “Hit me with your best shot, I looked back at him and smiled and he’s going to feel the wrath and the menace this time, I’ve got a point to prove.”

Oleksandr Usyk: “I feel good. It continues, the 13th round because I feel like this. Tyson Fury too had a chance in the sixth round, maybe the seventh round, maybe 12th, 11th, first, second. But Tyson did not do it. It’s just talk. Tyson said I had the chance. Yeah, no problem. We have a second fight, I’ll try.”
