West Ham forward Michail Antonio has reportedly been released from hospital more than three weeks after crashing his Ferrari and being airlifted to hospital.
The 34-year-old suffered a broken leg after smashing up his £260,000 Ferrari in a horrific accident near Theydon Bois in Essex. His West Ham team-mates faced an anxious wait for updates on his condition after worrying pictures of the totalled car circulated online.
Antonio was trapped in the car for 45 minutes in the immediate aftermath of the accident on December 7. He was soon confirmed to be conscious and communicating, albeit with a devastating leg injury which is set to keep him sidelined for at least a year.
According to The Sun, Antonio is now out of hospital and onto the next stage of his recovery.
