Ticket prices for the final at Alexandra Palace were pushed to over £1,400 before Luke Littler even qualified for the tournament decider.
With nearly 40,000 tickets for the entire tournament selling out within the first 30 minutes of release, and tickets for tomorrow’s final now re-selling for the huge amounts, Chris Newbold of Vision4Sport said: “Thanks to its electric atmosphere and iconic venue, interest in tickets for Alexandra Palace has always been high and one of the most in demand in sport relative to size of venue, but the Luke Littler effect has elevated that to levels never before seen in darts.
“2024 was a record breaking year for live sports within the UK, with international ticket sales rising over 50% for UK fans, and this final could be a real indication of the clamour to be there for the must-see events of 2025.”
