PS Plus February 2025 FREE PS4, PS5 games – EA FC 25, Scorn and Prince of Persia in lead | Gaming | Entertainment

PS Plus subscribers are just days away from discovering the identity of the new games joining the service in February 2025.

The next batch of PlayStation Plus Essentials will be revealed at 4.30pm GMT UK time on January 29. You’ll be able to download and play the free PS4 and PS5 games less than a week later, on the morning of February 4.

With games like Suicide Squad, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, God of War Ragnarok and Like a Dragon Gaiden all joining PS Plus in January, fans will be hoping for more high-profile releases in February.

Without any leaks to go on, some fans have been attempting to predict the line-up ahead of the big reveal.

Indeed, according to the predictions thread over on Reddit, multiple fans believe EA Sports FC 25 will join the Essentials line-up.

Elsewhere, many fans think Scorn could join the line-up, alongside Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Hades, Vampire Survivors and Sea of Stars.

Ever since leaving Xbox Game Pass in 2024, Atomic Heart continues to make multiple appearance in the predictions thread. Maybe February will be the month the action game finally joins the line-up.

Jusant, Hogwarts Legacy, Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Robocop also continue to be popular picks among PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Other games featured in the predictions thread include Parcel Corps, WrestleQuest, SnowRunner, Nickelodeon Kart Racing 3 and EA Sports UFC 5.

F1 Manager 24, High on Life, Braid Anniversary Edition and Lords of the Fallen all appear multiple times, as well as Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Hunt Showdown and TopSpin 2K25.

There are also a small number of picks for games like Far Cry Primal, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, Sekiro, Cuphead, Rise of the Ronin, Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Wo Long Fallen Dynasty.

That’s on top of Payday 3, Pacific Drive, Castlevania Advance Collection, Banishers Ghosts of New Eden, Lost Judgement, Lies of P, Guilty Gear strive, Blasphemous 2, Dredge, Two Point Hospital, Deathloop and The Outlast Trials.

Other infrequent but somewhat realistic picks include Persona 4 Golden, Planet Zoo, Chants of Sennaar, Signalis, Shadow Gambit, Unpacking, Bramble: The Mountain King and Stray.

A few people believe Kingdom Come Deliverance could join PS Plus, although this seems unlikely with the new game just weeks away from launch. Likewise for Monster Hunter Stories.

Then there are popular games like Sonic X Shadow Generations and Black Myth Wukong that are too recent to join the service.
