PS Plus February 2025 Extra and Premium reveal date – Here’s when games will be announced | Gaming | Entertainment

The PlayStation Network may be down, but that won’t stop Sony from announcing the February PS Plus Extra and Premium games on the the usual date and time.

While there’s a small chance the reveal could be held back for next week’s rumoured State of Play event, the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games will be announced at 4.30pm GMT UK time on the afternoon of February 12.

The PS4, PS5 and classic games will be available to download and play from the morning on February 18, so there’s still a long way to go before you can start playing.

Sony will have a tough time matching the quality of the January PS Plus Extra games, which were headlined by God of War Ragnarok.

The most recent God of War release was joined by the excellent Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, not to mention Orcs Must Die 3, Citizen Sleeper and Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand.

PS Plus Premium was without its usual PSVR 2 release, instead featuring a cult classic and iconic PlayStation sequel.

Indeed, PS Plus Premium was headlined by Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, as well as MediEvil 2.

There’s certainly room for improvement in the PS Plus Premium line-up, so here’s hoping we get those rumoured PS2 and PSP God of War games in February.

Daily Express will be back later this weekend with the full list of PS Plus Extra predictions and leaks, so keep checking back for more information.

Unfortunately, however, the addition of new PS Plus games coincides with the removal of others.

In fact, PS Plus Extra subscribers are about to lose hundreds of hours of video games, as multiple RPGs leave the service on February 18.

This includes the superb JRPG Tales of Arise, which was released by Bandai Namco back in 2021.

Other games from the series – such as Tales of Symphonia Remastered, Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition and Tales of Zestiria – will also leave the service in February, alongside Outriders and Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition.
