Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Famer Dante Hall fully believes that his former side’s tight end Travis Kelce will retire at Super Bowl LIX tonight – if they win a third consecutive showpiece event.
Kelce has picked upgolden rings in each of the past two season and questions have been hanging over how many years the 35-year-old has left. And Hall reckons it could be just the one match.
“I really do [think this is his last game],” Hall told Sky Sports. “Just hearing him this week in interviews, he sounds like a guy that if/when they win, that will be the perfect way to bow out.
“You can see in his play, he is kind of slowing down a little bit. I think he goes out on top today as a three-time Super Bowl winner!”
Kelce is as famous for dating Taylor Swift as he is for playing american football. And Hall has shared his experience of meeting Kansas City’s most famous fan.
“It’s calmness [for the Chiefs]. They’re like ‘been there, done that’. It’s a business trip,” Hall added.
“Everyone seems a little more confident than they normally are.
“I was never a ‘Swiftie’ in the beginning – her music is not for me – but I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her, hanging out, and she was so engaging and so funny.
“She is the most popular person in the world but so down to earth.”
