First announced last year, Layered Reality is gearing up to launch its official Elvis Presley immersive experience this Spring.
The unprecedented show, set to open in May at London’s Immerse LDN at Excel Waterfront, will take fans on a journey through time.
A synopsis teases: “Elvis Evolution will combine physical sets that move, shake and transform with live actors and musicians, pioneering technology and even the authentic aroma of the man himself, giving guests the chance to walk in Elvis’ blue suede shoes and follow his meteoric rise to superstardom like never before.
“AI has transformed every part of the production process, breathing new life into 60-year-old footage, recreating previously unseen moments and offering fans an intimate view of Elvis the man, as well as the icon.
“The show will culminate with an immersive video performance of Elvis’ ‘If I Can Dream’, accompanied by live musicians.”
Now in a first look, three concept art images tease what’s in-store at the Elvis experience. The first shows off a 1960s Bob’s Burbank Diner, the second depicts the King’s 1968 Comeback Special dressing room, and the third recreates the backstage at NBC Studios, where it was filmed.
