Over his short 42 years, Elvis Presley dated many beautiful women, but only a few actually lived with the King at Graceland.

Following his separation and eventual divorce from Priscilla Presley in 1972, the 37-year-old rock icon started dating 22-year-old Miss Tennessee model Linda Thompson.

And it wasn’t long before she moved into the Memphis mansion with the King, who she was in a relationship with until Christmas 1976 when they broke up amicably.

Now 74, Linda often pays tribute to Elvis on Instagram, sharing rare couple snaps of herself with the King who she adored.

Posting a collage of pictures with Elvis on her Instagram, Linda captioned the post: “Throwback Thursday to an extraordinary time in my life that truly helped to shape who I am today. I’m grateful for all the memories, the life lessons, the good times & the bad…the pain and the promise of brighter tomorrows… as Elvis and Khalil Gibran believed… “The deeper the sorrow carves into the heart, the more joy it can contain. Grateful that after all this time, whatever flaws and frailties… Elvis is remembered and revered by those dedicated souls who run his fan clubs, @visitgraceland, EPE, and the legions of people who love him still around the world!”
