England 2-0 Albania: England player ratings from the World Cup qualifier | England

Jordan Pickford Distribution was solid. The keeper did not have to make a save. Ran over for a debrief with Tuchel after the first goal. 6

Kyle Walker Not the force of old but he was still quick enough to handle Albania. Sent in a cross that sparked a goalmouth scramble. 7

Ezri Konsa A surprise pick over Marc Guéhi. Did not have to do a lot but swept up well. One huge tackle prevented an equaliser. 7

Dan Burn Not convincing. Headed against the bar but struggled later. Twice turned by Broja, then beaten in the air by the striker. 6

Myles Lewis-Skelly A dream debut for the 18-year-old. Burst through
to open the scoring with a cool finish. Calm defensively and adventurous in possession. Here to stay. 8

Declan Rice Looked to hold his position in defensive midfield. Lofted pass fashioned an opening. The second half was more difficult. 7

Curtis Jones On the ball a lot during the early stages and set the tone with some fierce pressing. Needed more finesse in final third. 7

Phil Foden Lacks conviction in an England shirt. Not as effective as Bukayo Saka on the right. A huge talent who remains a conundrum. 6

Jude Bellingham Brought quality with a lovely pass for Lewis-Skelly and also unsettled Albania with runs from deep. Faded in second half. 7

Marcus Rashford Eager to impress on his first cap in almost a year. Made a chance for Bellingham but other runs did not quite come off. 6

Harry Kane Still dropped deep to fizz passes through but tried not to be an extra No 6 and arrived in the box to hunt for chances. Classy finish to settle the game. 8
