Meghan Markle has come under fire as royal experts believe she has opted for “maximum publicity” by using Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to gain attention for her business.

Those in royal circles are said to be concerned about Meghan’s increasing use of hers and Prince Harry’s children to promote her business.

It comes as the 43-year-old posted a rare photograph of her children with their faces turned from the camera on her Instagram business page ‘As Ever’ and her personal page. Just a short while later, after posting the image, she revealed she now has a ‘ShopMy page’ which experts say she is likely to cash in on. With a choice of hand-picked fashion items, the Duchess of Sussex is now selling these hand-picked clothes for commercial gain on social media, and taking commission on any purchases.

Royal author and journalist Phil Dampier told The Sun: “Nothing happens by accident and she would have thought this through and knows putting a photo of her children out at the same time as her clothing line would get maximum publicity. It begs the question whether Meghan is exploiting her two children who remain in the line of succession. I’d expect the Palace to take a dim view of this.”

Dickie Arbiter, former press secretary to the late Queen told The Sun: “It’s tacky — everything they do is tacky”, adding it was “a mixture of a lack of imagination and desperation”.
