As a tech reviewer I test and use scores of consumer gadgets every year, including the latest and greatest Bluetooth headphones. I’ve listened to my tunes through the Apple AirPods Max, Beats Studio Pro and Sony WH-1000XM5, but I keep coming back to my favourite over-ear wireless headphones ever, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones – and they are on offer in the Amazon Spring Deal Days sale.
Usually £449.95, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are currently down to £329.95, a massive £120 saving. I understand £329.95 isn’t exactly what you’d call cheap, but it’s a much more palatable price for the best headphones I’ve ever reviewed.
Best of all, you don’t need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber to get this deal. This lower price is open to anyone. At the time of writing, the blue and diamond colourways are £329.95, with the black and white versions about £20 more.
Bose helped popularise noise cancellation tech with its QuietComfort range of cans, meaning Bose gadgets can be seen strapped to the head of many an airport dweller as well as commuters and music lovers the world over.
The QuietComfort Ultra series boosts the smarts and quality of the classic Bose formula to bring the best the firm has to offer. These headphones have incredible noise cancellation, as I found in my review, and I’ve used this to my advantage on many plane journeys to stifle the roar of the engines. I’ve worn them on crowded London Underground trains, on the bus, at home and in the office and found they can always block out the loudest sounds around me.

Music sounds amazing on them, naturally. There’s good separation of instruments no matter what genre you’re listening to, with drivers that can handle delicate piano as well as pounding bass depending on your tastes. Bose has also added a new Immersive Audio mode that turns whatever you’re listening to into spatial audio, no matter the source.
This works quite well for most music, and means you can get a more surround sound effect on your music if you want. You can also tweak the EQ to your liking in the Bose app and tune the headphones to your personal tastes.
This Amazon Spring Deal is part of the retailer’s Spring Deal Days sale, which runs from March 25 to March 31, 2025. We spotted this deal on March 26 but we’re not sure how long it’ll be running for, so if you want to invest it’s best to do so now.
