Chris Pratt is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, known for his acting work in huge movie franchises such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World.

However, fans of the 45-year-old US star think he’s about to head up another.

There has been speculation about who will be the next James Bond for years since Daniel Craig revealed he was bowing out from the iconic role after appearing in 2021’s ‘No Time to Die’. And the rumours have gone even more into overdrive since it was recently revealed Amazon is taking over the franchise.

And many fans of Chris think it might just be him.

Adding fuel to the rumours, one film fan shared the news about Amazon taking over, writing: “They’re gonna cast Chris Pratt and make him fight some warehouse workers who wanna unionise.”

The post instantly went viral, racking up 77,000 likes and more than 1.8million views.

Although the original poster was clearly joking, many said they liked the idea of Chris as 007. One person said: “I know this is a joke, but I’d un-ironically go see this.” While another added: “I can get behind this.” A third chimed in: “Kinda down for that.” While a fourth added: “No notes.”

The speculation came as Chris also hit news headlines after appearing in Friday (February 28) night’s The Graham Norton show, which was hosted by Claudia Winkleman this week.

He revealed on the BBC show that he has suffered lung infections after the birth of three of his children thanks to a bizarre ritual with his father-in-law Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Pratt, who married Arnold’s daughter Katherine, 35, in 2019, have welcomed two daughters and a son together. The actor revealed how Arnold enjoyed celebrating the births – by lighting up a cigar.

Chris has asthma, but despite the affect on his health smoking a cigar has, his wanting to impress his father-in-law, he joined in each time – resulting in the lung infection.

Pratt is currently on a promotional tour presenting new film Electric State, in which he stars alongside Millie Bobby Brown. The film is set to premiere globally on Netflix on March 14, 2025.
