The Dartford Crossing is currently closed due to a “police incident”, sparking traffic and travel chaos on the M25 during rush hour.
Drivers are currentlfacing huge delays on the major UK bridge – which is also a hugely popular commuting route between London and the south east of England.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: “Traffic remains held on the A282 QEIIBridge southbound at Dartford Crossing due to a Kent Police led incident.
“Thank you for your continued patience. Long delays of at least 45 mins on approach.”
