Carlos Alcaraz wants ATP talks as he slams new rule that annoyed him in Queen’s loss | Tennis | Sport

Turning his attention back to Thursday’s match against Draper, he added: “Today I felt like I was in a rush all the time. I had no time to bounce and do my routine. Of course it’s something bad for the players, I think.”

The three-time Grand Slam champion will now make his feelings known to ATP bosses. Asked whether he would be speaking to the tour, he replied: “Not yet, but I will, for sure.”

But Alcaraz was still full of praise for Draper, who earned the biggest win of his young career. “I think he [is] used to playing on grass. I mean, he won last week in Stuttgart. He’s playing great tennis. I mean, his serve was pretty well, as well,” he explained. “He didn’t let me, let’s say, get into the match with his serve, and on the baseline he played a really solid match aggressively when he got to do it.”
