Meghan’s surprise new American Riviera product to be big money spinner | Royal | News

In a bid to carve out her own commercial empire, Meghan Markle is turning her attention towards an exciting new venture, according to insiders. The Duchess of Sussex’s latest product from her American Riviera Orchard line is rumoured to be a “big money spinner”.

The estranged Royal announced the lifestyle brand back in March, and created a stir among fans with news of an upcoming homeware collection as well as a line of nut butters, jams, and marmalades. It emerged through Meghan’s trademark application that the range would also include workout gear and even treats for our four-legged friends.

Selected friends – including some celebrity pals – have already received jars of jam created from fruit grown in her Montecito mansion’s garden.

Even Meghan’s pet-owning buddies weren’t forgotten – they were treated to dog snacks after close friend of Prince Harry, Nacho Figueras, unveiled a stylishly labelled glass container of dog biscuits. Yet official confirmation is still pending as to when the American Riviera Orchard products will launch, leaving fans eagerly anticipating an announcement so they can be the first in line to snag part of Meghan’s new business project.

However, early hype surrounding her jams and dog treats may not prove the main event. Sources reveal Meghan’s debut product for American Riviera Orchard may see her joining stars like Kylie Minogue, Brad Pitt, and Sarah Jessica Parker in releasing their own rose wine.

The trend of celebrities launching their own wine labels has surged in recent years, with Brad Pitt’s Miraval rose fetching around £25 per bottle and Kylie Minogue’s pale pink vino earning rave reviews from both connoisseurs and die-hard fans. While it remains unclear whether Meghan and Harry have a vineyard on their sprawling Montecito estate, insiders told the Daily Mail that the rose will be Californian-made and is expected to be a significant revenue generator for the Duchess.

The mother-of-two is known for her love of wine, even naming her blog The Tig after her preferred red, the exclusive Italian Tignanello. Reports suggest that she and Harry enjoyed several glasses of rose during their early courtship, and rose was among the beverages served at Meghan’s hen do at Soho Farmhouse in 2018.
