Two England stars were given lowly ratings of 3/10 as French newspaper L’Equipe issued a damning assessement of their display against Slovenia.

Kyle Walker was singled out as one of England’s ‘flops’, with the report stating he ‘practically missed everything he did’.

Jude Bellingham was also handed a 3/10 rating while Conor Gallagher received the same treatment.

The highest rating for an England player was just 6/10, given to Jordan Pickford, Declan Rice and Harry Kane.

L’Equipe have gained a reputation for giving harsh verdicts on players but it is hard to argue with their view of England’s dire display.
