GTA 6 Trailer 2 countdown – Rockstar reveals date for new gameplay reveal | Gaming | Entertainment

Grand Theft Auto fans think they may have spotted a hidden message in the latest GTA Online trailer. Rockstar Games recently released the Pizza Delivery update for Grand Theft Auto’s hugely popular online mode. As you can see from the trailer further down the page, the aim of the update is to deliver pizzas throughout Los Santos in the quickest time possible. Interestingly, however, the bike in the video clearly has ‘OCT 4’ written on the license plate. Needless to say, this has led to speculation that Rockstar Games is planning something big for October 4. While some fans believe this is Rockstar’s way of announcing the GTA 6 release date for 2025, it’s more likely that October 4 is the date the second trailer will drop.

Rockstar is definitely the kind of studio that would drop a hint in this manner, so we’re definitely not ruling it out.

Of course, as some users on Reddit have pointed out, it’s possible we’re all getting a bit carried away, but it’s fun to speculate.

What we do know for sure is that Grand Theft Auto 6 takes place in the state of Leonida, which is based on Florida.

Rockstar explains: “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”

The trailer gives fans a look some of the map locations as seen from the skies above. This includes locations based on the Florida Keys, as well as the beach and more.

Hopefully we’ll get a better look at the locations, as well as some gameplay in the next GTA 6 trailer.

In terms of a release date, Rockstar parent company Take-Two has confirmed that GTA 6 will launch in autumn 2025.

Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick also said that he is highly confident Rockstar Games will hit the autumn release window, despite the developer seeking perfection.

“There are elements that you can actually measure,” Zelnick told CNBC. “For example the number of bugs in a title, and every one of us will make sure that we have as few bugs as possible before we launch.

“However, in the case of an extraordinary title, for which there are extraordinary expectations, it’s not really about bugs, it’s about creating an experience that no one’s seen before, and Rockstar Games seeks perfection in what they do. Perfection is indeed hard to measure, it really is more subjective than objective.”
