Emergency services are currently responding to a major incident at Skegness Pleasure Beach after a theme park ride malfunctioned, leaving passengers stranded in mid-air.

Skegness Police confirmed they rushed to the scene this afternoon after receiving reports of the malfunction. Fire and ambulance services are also on-site, working together in a coordinated rescue effort.

A spokesperson for Skegness Police said: “We are attending an incident at Skegness Pleasure Beach where a ride has malfunctioned and remains suspended in the air with a number of people stuck on the ride.

“We ask members of the public to please avoid the area while emergency services ensure the safety of those on the ride.”
