ASDA recalls popular ready meal amid ‘packaging error’ and urges customers to return food

Asda is recalling its ASDA Chicken Dinners because the product contains milk, egg and barley (gluten), which are not mentioned on the label.

According to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), there has been a “packaging error”.

This means some of the packs contain ASDA Beef Dinner instead of the chicken dinner.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, egg or barley (gluten).

Anyone with an allergy or intolerance to the above is urged not to eat the food item if they have purchased it.
