PS Plus November 2024 leak – God of War coming to PlayStation Plus | Gaming | Entertainment

Sony’s PS Plus Premium tier has given retro gaming fans the opportunity to replay some classic games and hidden gems in 2024, after titles like Dino Crisis, Timesplitters and Mr Moskeeto all recently joined the service.

If the latest leaks are anything to go by, it looks like PlayStation Plus Premium is about to add even more blockbuster hits from yesteryear, with classic God of War games tipped to join the line-up.

Indeed, with God of War getting ready to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025, Sony appears to have plans to bring back some of the older games in the series to PS Plus Premium.

Fans recently spotted an image of classic Kratos in the PlayStation 2 section of the PS Plus Premium library Similar artwork was discovered for Dino Crisis before the game joined PS Plus Premium earlier this month.

Needless to say, this has led to speculation that the old-school God of War games will join PlayStation Plus Premium in November.

Presumably, this includes God of War and God of War 2, which were released on the PS2 in 2005 and 2007, respectively.

Fresh off the back of our PSP wishlist earlier this week, here’s hoping PS Plus Premium subscribers will also be able to playhandheld entries Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta.

The addition of the artwork pretty much guarantees the games will join the service at some point, it’s just not clear when. A November 2024 release seems the most likely, but there’s a chance Sony may hold back until the anniversary in 2025.

If you do have a PS Plus Premium subscription and want to enjoy some classic God of War, then you can play God of War 3 Remastered as part of your membership plan.

Sony has already given fans an idea about another one of the games coming to PS Plus Premium, with Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain about to join the line-up.

Headlined by Dead Island 2, the most recent batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games made their debut last week.

Zombie action game Dead Island 2 was joined by light-hearted strategy game Two Point Campus, as well as horror game The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me.

Other games added to PS Plus Extra this month include Gris, Return to Monkey Island, Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed, Firefighting Simulator The Squad, Overpass 2, Tour de France 2023 and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

Premium subscribers were treated to The Last Clockwinder for PSVR 2, as well as Dino Crisis, Siren and R-Type Dimensions EX.

Sadly, however, it’s not all good news, because two Rockstar masterpieces are about to leave PS Plus Extra in the coming weeks.
