WWE 2K25 has been officially unveiled by 2K Sports and World Wrestling Entertainment.
The annual wrestling release has been given a March 14 launch date on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Early access is available by pre-ordering the Deadman or Bloodline Editions of the game.
Speaking of The Bloodline, Roman Reigns was revealed as the cover star for this year’s release in a segment on Raw.
Roman Reigns and The Bloodline will headline this year’s Showcase mode, which centres around important matches and moments from the group’s past.
If you’re thinking of pre-ordering the game for PS4 or PS5, then the good news is that you can save money by grabbing discounted PlayStation Store credit from online retailer CD Keys.
PlayStation customers can purchase a £70 PSN card for just £60.99 from CD Keys.
This means you can pick up the £64.99 Standard Edition for £60.99, and have money left over in your PlayStation account.
After purchasing the PSN credit from CD Keys, the retailer will email a code which can be used to redeem your credit from the PlayStation Store.
Other denominations are also available at discounted prices, which is ideal if you want to grab the Deadman or Bloodline Editions of the game.
The Deadman Edition comes with the aforementioned Early Access, as well as the Deadman Edition Bonus Pack, the Season Pass, the Wyatt Sicks Pack and 15,000 VC.
The Bloodline Edition comes with the same bonuses, as well as The Bloodline Edition Bonus Pack, the Ringside Pass, the Wyatt Sicks Pack, plus The Rock Nation of Domination Pack.
In addition to the Bloodline themed Showcase mode, WWE 2K25 is said to contain expanded gameplay features.
In a surprise move, this includes intergender wrestling matches between the men and women.
The game is also said to feature the return of chain wrestling, Underground and Bloodline Rules match types and barricade diving.
Elsewhere, MyGM is said to have gone global with the addition of online multiplayer and multi-week seasonal content.
WWE Universe mode features commentary-driven promos with new cutscenes, as well as branching choices with multiple outcomes.
The roster has also been given an upgrade, featuring more than 300 wrestlers from multiple generations, including The Undertaker, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and more.
