Zen Studios has announced plans to release a new Pinball FX game for Meta Quest devices.

Eight years after the release of Pinball FX2 VR, Zen Studios is back with a much more definitive virtual reality pinball game.

Launching on April 3, Pinball FX VR will contain a much wider selection of tables than its superb predecessor.

According to Zen Studios, the launch line-up features Sky Pirates: Treasures of the Clouds, Pinball Noir, and Curse of the Mummy.

That’s on top of an “all-star lineup of Williams Pinball tables”, which are available in VR for the first time ever.

This includes Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure, The Addams Family, World Cup Soccer, Twilight Zone, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. 

Other VR tables include Battlestar Galactica Pinball, Knight Rider Pinball and Xena: Warrior Princess Pinball. 

Additional tables will be available to purchase at a later date. Hopefully this includes The Princess Bride table, because I really want to try that in VR.

Pinball FX VR will also contain other features to make it stand out from previous virtual reality pinball games.

There’s a Global Campaign mode, mini games, interactive unlockables and Mixed Reality Pinball.

“Besides full immersion mode, you can experience the thrill of pinball in your living room or wherever you choose, blurring the line between physical and virtual realities,” Zen Studios explains.

Mini-games, on the other hand, include darts, some sort of Wheel of Fortune style game, and playable gadgets.
