Canada’s Alex Loutitt won the bronze medal in the large hill competition at the final World Cup women’s ski jumping event of the season.
The 21-year-old from Calgary, who was ninth in qualifying, reached her third podium of the season with a combined distance of 275.1 metres over her two jumps.
Nika Prevc of Slovenia finished comfortably in first with a total of 302.8 metres. Selina Freitag of Germany took silver with 277.4 metres.
Loutitt won the large hill event at a World Cup stop in Sapporo, Japan, in January and finished third in the event last month at Lake Placid, N.Y.
The 2023 world champion was 10th in the overall standings heading into Friday’s World Cup large hill final.
Calgary’s Abigail Strate finished 11th, just missing out on her sixth top-10 result of the season.
