Dubai chocolate is everywhere, and it’s absolutely delicious.
For those who haven’t tried it, it may look a little bit suspicious and as though the filling is grass – but it tastes unbelievably good and is, sadly, quite calorific.
That’s why health influencer Lorraine, who posts on Instagram as @healthyfitbella_, shared a recipe for a pistachio yoghurt pot, that packs the same punch as the Dubai chocolate craze, but is much healthier.
“Feeling pretty smug over this homemade chocolate pistachio yoghurt pot,” she admitted as part of the caption.
Lorraine continued: “Eating well isn’t about restriction – it’s about balance, nourishment, and enjoying every bite.”
She said the dessert would give “a little chocolate, a little crunch, and all the satisfaction of a treat made from real, wholesome ingredients”. Lorraine then joked: “Who says you can’t have it all?”
To make this delicious treat, all you need to do is add four tablespoons of 0% Greek yoghurt to a bowl. Then, mix it up with a tablespoon of maple syrup, half a teaspoon of coconut oil, and a teaspoon of pistachio cream.
When it’s all mixed up together and light green in colour, put it into a square dessert bowl. Then, pop another teaspoon of pistachio cream in the centre of the mixture.
Then, you’ll need 30g of melted dark chocolate, which you’re going to use to pour over the top of the yoghurty mixture.
Make sure it’s all smooth over the top so all you can see is the dark chocolate. Finally, you can sprinkle some pistachios over the dark chocolate. This provides extra texture and to also makes it look seriously aesthetic.
Then, of course, you want the chocolate on top to cool, so you can pop it in the fridge for a couple of hours before tucking in and probably devouring the whole lot!
In the caption she said that homemade food “feels better,” and living a healthier lifestyle is all about “balance not restriction”.
In the comments, she received a lot of praise from people who wanted to try it. Someone wrote: “Perfect dessert idea. Looks decadent and delicious”.
“I’m saving this – it looks fabulous and like the perfect treat dessert,” another praised.
