Ronnie O’Sullivan’s pursuit of an eighth World Snooker Championship title will continue today when The Rocket returns to action at the Crucible against Ryan Day. O’Sullivan is the outright favourite to win the the tournament, which would also see him secure the Triple Crown. 

Alongside O’Sullivan, Mark Allen and John Higgins will continue their tight contest into the second session, with the score locked at 4-4. Both players enjoyed leads during Saturday’s session, with Higgins winning the final frame of the day to tie things up. 

Shaun Murphy and Stephen Maguire will also resume on Sunday, with the latter just three frames away from a famous win. Maguire enjoyed a late flurry against Murphy to extend his lead to 10-6.
