How to remove mould form washing machine seal for good with one item

on your washing machine seal will not only leave your giving off a foul odour, but it will also mean your clothes remain dirty.

Mould buildup is most common on washing machine seals, as well as the machine drawers.

It is advised that you give your washing machine seal a quick clean after every wash. This can be done by simply wiping it over and leaving the washing machine door open to dry out.

However, to avoid mould and severe build-up, the seal should be more deeply, along with the rest of the washing machine, every month.

Having failed to clean their washing machine seal regularly, one woman was met with her washing machine seal covered in black marks – mould.

Unsure of how to tackle it, Charlene took to the Army Cleaning Tips Facebook page to ask: “What’s best to use on the washing machine for mould?”

Many group members suggested using a mould and mildew spray – either the Astonish Mould & Mildew Blaster or the Cillit Bang Power Cleaner Black mould Remover spray.

Sam Lord wrote: “Mould and mildew cleaner Cillit Bang spray all inside the machine leave overnight and put on a wash with nothing in it. Works wonders.”

Karen Davis instructed: “Definitely Cillit Bang’s mould and mildew spray. Spray all inside the rubber seal and leave it for at least 24 hours. Use a good absorbent kitchen roll soaked in it for the sides, then scrub with a toothbrush for any residue left.

However, the majority of Mrs Hinch fans in the comments were raving over the cleaning product Mould Magic.
