PS Plus Extra, Premium March 2025 release time, date, games and last chance warning | Gaming | Entertainment

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are counting down to the release of the Extra and Premium games for March 2025.

Headlined by EA Sports UFC 5, the next wave of PS Plus Extra and Premium games have a March 18 release date.

Consisting of multiple PS4 and PS5 games, not to mention a variety of retro PS1 titles and a PSVR 2 release, the next batch of games will be available to download and play from around midday UK time.

EA Sports UFC 5 is arguably the highest-profile game releasing in March, although Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is easily the best.

The side-scrolling Prince of Persia features Metroidvania elements, as players gain powers in order to unlock new areas.

“Enter a mythological Persia-inspired world in the grip of a corrupting curse,” reads a Sony post.

“Boasting a striking, stylish new aesthetic, this thrilling action-adventure introduces a brand-new Prince.

“As sword-wielding prodigy Sargon, you’ll combine acrobatic combat with extraordinary Time Powers and super abilities to navigate diverse biomes filled with time-corrupted enemies and mythological beasts. It’s time to write a new legend.”

Other games joining PS Plus Extra include Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, as well as Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy and Bang-On Balls: Chronicles.

That’s on top of You Suck at Parking, Syberia – The World Before and Arcade Paradise.

Speaking of Arcade Paradise, PS Plus Premium subscribers will be able to download and play the PSVR 2 version of the game.

PlayStation Plus Premium members can also pick up the PS1 trilogy of Armored Core, Armored Core Project Phantasma and Armored Core: Master of Arena.

Unfortunately, however, it’s not all good news because multiple high-profile games are also leaving PS Plus Extra on the same day.

This includes the excellent Resident Evil 3 Remake and Street Fighter 5, as well as Mortal Kombat 11 and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R.

That’s on top of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, Life is Strange 2 and Life is Strange True Colours.

Finally, consider this your final warning to download and play the likes of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Monster Energy Supercross The Offical Videogame 6 and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy.
