Clint Eastwood’s car collection from popular SUV to classic Ferrari and movie prop

Clint Eastwood has owned a series of stunning classic cars from gorgeous Ferrari and Austin machines to road-going SUV machines and even an electric car.

The Hollywood celebrity may keep a low profile but that hasn’t stopped The Good, The Bad and The Ugly star from enjoying his motors.

From a Ford Roadster hot rod he purchased in the 1930s to a battery-electric Fiat 500e , Clint has seen it all in motoring with a collection to rival any other.

Now reaching 94, Express.co.uk looks at just some of the vehicles Clint has proudly called his own after a glittering career on the silver screen.

GMC Typhoon

Back in 2016, Clint revealed he owned the high-performance SUV during an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon Show. He made the revelation after Jimmy asked Clint what car he drove around in before the host guessed it could be a truck.

However, Clint quickly admitted he had the V6 GMC which he simply described as “fast”. The model was first released back in 1992 and was fitted with a gorgeous 4.3-litre V6 engine.

The vehicle could reach 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds. With just under 4,700 models ever manufactured by the American car giant. Clint said: “I could drive a truck. I drive a Typhoon, a GMC Typhoon. It’s out of production now. It’s actually a turbo V6. It’s fast.”

Ferrari 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer

Clint’s stunning classic car collection wouldn’t be complete without a historic Ferrari and the 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer tells an interesting tale.

A 380bhp engine could reach an eye-watering 186mph and was even crowned the fastest car in the world when it was first released. Amazingly, the Hollywood star quickly turned his hand to car engineer after deciding he didn’t like the roof.

Clint removed it in 1978 and kept the car in its new condition until selling around 1985. The Berlinetta was not Clint’s only Ferrari with the actor having owned the keys to a stunning Ferrari 275 GTB.

The classic Ferrari is understood to have been bought for Clint as a gift by Italian producer Dino De Laurentiis after appearing in the movie The Witches.

Austin Healey 100M

Austin’s latest sports cars acquired somewhat cult status in the early 1950s with Clint Eastwood and Steve McQueen both securing a model.

The car was dubbed the 100’ by Austin’s Dennis Healey to boast about its ability to reach 100mph. The vehicle competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1852 which only added to the aura around the stunning motor.

Gran Torino Sport

In 2008, Clint directed, produced and acted in American drama movie Gran Torino, his first role in four years. The movie supposedly led to a resurgence in demand for the Gran Torino muscle car with Eatswwood himself getting in on the act.

The car used in the film was found through a classic car dealer on eBay with Warner Bros purchasing the vehicle for filming.

However, Clint bought the car for personal use soon after with the vehicle now in the Warner Bros Studios Picture Car Museum in California.

Other vehicles

Over his career, Clint has also owned a series of stunning classic vehicles from a Lincoln K-Series Convertible and Ford Roadster.

He previously had the keys to a Cadillac Eldorado Series 62 convertible and a Morris Minor Countryman ‘Cooper S’ model.

In more recent years, Clint has also been spotted driving around California in a fully electric Fiat 500e.
