Mamma Mia tickets: Here’s where to get tickets now | Theatre | Entertainment

Mamma Mia! has become one of the longest-running shows in London’s West End, and with good reason.

Based on the music written and recorded by Swedish pop superstars ABBA, Mamma Mia! follows the heart-racing story of Sophie looking for the truth about her father.

In a last-ditch attempt to find out who her dad is, she invites Sam, Harry and Bill – ex-flames of her mother, Donna – to her upcoming wedding to figure out who will give her away on her big day.

Of course, this drags up all sorts of drama and bad memories for Sophie’s mother, Donna, who has a complicated past with each of the men who just checked into her Greek hotel.

Written by British playwright Catherine Johnson, Mamma Mia! has surpassed the likes of Rent, Wicked, The Sound of Music, The King and I and Damn Yankees as one of the longest-running stage shows on the planet.
